Spring Forward with Style

Just as spring is around the corner, the weather has also been warming up unusually fast here. The grass seems lusher. The sky seems bluer. The days seem longer. With that being said, shorts and blazers are what we're feeling, so we decided to put together a "spring like" outfit to welcome the new season with open arms.

Outfit:

Blazer: Ann Taylor Loft
Shirt: Walmart
Shorts: Citizens of Humanity
Hat: Lerner New York
Pendant: Neiman Marcus
Ring: jewelery shop in Buenos Aires
Shoes: Chanel

Linda:

I bought this blazer last week at a great deal (extra 40% off the sale price) so it ended up being less then $40! It fit perfectly because it's a petite size and I also love that the colors on the blazer reminds me of warm weather to come. The weather was comfortable enough to wear shorts, but not to the point where I could walk around with a t-shirt and shorts. The thing about blazers that are so great, is that they give you the nice option to not be as bulky as coats but still have the ability to keep you warm while looking stylish;)

Outfit:

Top: Forever 21
Shorts: Forever 21
Booties: Nine West
Necklace: Etsy

Melanie:

I chose this outfit for spring, because I just love the lace top. It adds such a cute feminine touch to the whole outfit and went perfect with thick shorts over tights. Since this was a fashion post, I decided to go a bit daring with it, but you can definitely add a camisole underneath for little bit of modesty. Finish off with some booties to complete the outfit and you're good to go!

Wow, I like both styles especially first one. But it's still cold here where I live so shorts without thick thighs is out of the question.

Anyways, love it!

Mel I love the photo shoot, you look great! And I adore those accessories. Especially the leaf ring on Linda. The blazer is so cute.
