2010 New Year's Eve Outfit of the Day

Melanie's NYE's Outfit

Dress: F21 Flounce Ruffle Dress - $27.80
Necklace & Black Shrug: $7 & $10 at F21
Belt & Tights: $6 and $3.50 at F21
Faux Fur Shrug: taken from an Ann Taylor's blazer
Bag: Chanel 2.55 Classic Flap in Caviar
Shoes: TRINITIE black pumps- $59.96 (Originally $89.95) from Steve Madden

Melanie:
I chose this outfit because it's fun and I just love the flirty ruffles. The cobalt blue color is perfect for New Year's and because the dress is all in one color, there can be multiple ways of accessorizing to create a totally different look. Just by changing the shrug, you can see the difference it makes in how the outfit comes together. I wish the belt was just a little tighter on me to cinch the waist a bit more, but since it's one of those metal clip and non-adjustable, this will have to do.

Linda's NYE's Outfit

Dress: Ali Ro - $75 (Originally $250) from Saks.
Necklace: Lee Angel- $138 (Originally $398) from Neiman marcus.
Shoes: Stuart Weitzman from 2 yrs ago.

Linda:
I chose this dress to wear because I knew that the NYE house party wasn't going to be extremely dressy but yet it was supposed to be semi formal. The dress itself is pretty simple but with the addition of a loud accessory such as the necklace, it makes the outfit appear dressier than it really is. I love the detailed draping on this dress along with the colors on the dress which reminds me of painting. Details on clothes are important to me which is something I pay special attention too.

Amy's NYE's Outfit

Dress: Chiffon dress w/ velvet belt - $70 (from Express circa 2004?)
Coat: Faux Fur coat - $36 (from F21 Jan 2010)
Necklace: Tiffany's Elsa Peretti charm necklace (gift)
Shoes: Peeptoes - $15? bought from China

Amy:
I am attending a symphony with the boyfriend, so I wanted something classy and sophisticated. We will also be attending a masquerade ball afterwards as part of the event, so I wanted lower heels for easy dancing. A black and white combo is classic and perfect for the blistery cold winter.

That's it! Hope this gives you girls some outfit ideas for ringing in the New Year! We can't wait to share more ideas for the upcoming year so please stay tuned! Have a Great New Year everyone!

All three outfits are classy and elegant without looking out of place in the places you attended. Thank you for sharing!
